"AUD recordings from the 70s are worthless, EXCEPT for use in creating a MATRIX"

With this statement you've established yourself as a complete knucklehead in my eyes. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this completely bogus statement comes from ignorance.

Well- this one's pretty good. Most are not though. And kindly quit the name-calling.

Oh- I guess this is not really an AUD since it was processed by Jay and his DAW. So for all you AUD holier than thou types, by all means don't poison your collection with this one.

Sorry about that, it was totally inappropriate. Rereading what I wrote, I'm not sure what the hell I was thinking

Anyway, a kinder way to put my opinion forth would have been: There are LOTS of really great AUDs from the 70s out there, and you should check them out. Here are some of my favorites:

6/24/70
3/21/70
11/8/70
6/22/73
7/1/73
All from '74
9/28/75 (!!)
Lots from '76
6/4/77

I'd come up with more but I'm tired. Thanks for calling me out on my jackassery (seriously).

I will definitely check them out! I appreciate all the lists that people generate here and welcome any enlightenment that may come along with them. And even being proven wrong. I still prefer the Jay Ashley source of the 9/28/75 show tho:

I enjoy the sound of some of those DAW bertha remasters over the original SDBs. For the early 70s GD SBDs, I suggest you try a place called Veneta in 1972. The bertha-ashley remaster of Veneta streams here.

We've had streaming issues, server disruptions, browser problems, and the New Years eve shows that just came up. That's when I stumbled across another bertha-ashley remaster for New Years eve 1972 SBD.
